How much does it cost to study and live in Germany?

- tuition fees (once per semester: not at all universities and not in all programmes). Depending on the university, tuition fees are 500 Euro per semester or less. Many universities do not charge tuition fees at all apart from a fee (50 – 250 Euro per semester) that you have to pay for the use of the universities social facilities. This sometimes includes a comprehensive ticket for public transport
